1921 & 1928 Thompson Welding Jig Set. These full-length jigs ensure precise alignment of all receiver pieces during the welding process. Each set includes all the essential hardware: one main jig with brass insert, magazine well jig, two receiver channel inserts, wing nut, washer, rear screw, threaded rod, and hex key. With this jig, you can effortlessly achieve the correct spacing of the receiver components. Just remove any slag from your pieces, position them on the jig, and start welding!
We offer a similar jig for the M1/M1A1 Thompson models too. Check them out here.

Works perfectly! Helped me do a reweld on an Appalachian Arms 1928 kit without issue.

side insert too thick, had to mill them thinner for my cut up 1928. Length and large center dimensions right on the money. Bought a longer rod for front as my front piece still had barrel attached. would be nice to have a handle on the brass insert to easily remove, its nice and tight.

I didn’t buy this to weld up the receiver. Leavenworth isn’t someplace I want to visit for the next 20 years. I did buy this to hold the pieces of the receiver together to make a really cool looking display gun. This jig, some washers and 1/4-20 threaded rod keeps it together. Very well made, maybe someday we will be able to have fun stuff and I can have it welded together. Until then I can just dream. Thanks.
