Expertly CNC machined from 6160 aluminum. Designed to perfectly align the receiver pieces and prevent warping during welding. The jig provides a non-stick surface to weld against leaving behind a smooth, clean weld. To achieve precise alignment, a threaded rod is inserted through the entire jig and receiver, extending from the barrel to the back plate. Each jig set includes a threaded rod, washers, wing nuts and a barrel insert.
Select an 18in threaded rod if you’re building with a standard 10.5in barrel. If you’re building with a 16in barrel, select a 24in rod.

There really aren’t too many options left on the market for this, but it still would beat most if not all of the other welding jigs. Great, solid construction and easy to use. It’s a bit tight of a fit (especially with the front sling rivet), but it’s better tight than too much slop. Definitely buy one if you ever plan to do a build down the road

This jig makes welding trunnions super easy. Just be sure to eye it and check that it’s visibly straight, trim the trunnion as needed, and the jig will help clamp it down for welding. You cannot rely 100% on the jig to keep the trunnion straight but it gets you 90% of the way there

This is a great jig. If you are doing a re weld, or partial re weld, its a must have.
